Cut-off rigidity models
Models to evaluate vertical cut-off rigidity by trajectory calculation in combined models of geomagnetic field.
All models use a combined internal (IGRF) and external (Tsyganenko 96, Tsyganenko 05) geomagnetic fields. Web model / GeoMag-96 - evaluates allowed trajectories with rigidity step 0.1 GV in geomagnetic field from internal IGRF and external Tsyganenko 96 geomagnetic field model. Mail model / GeoMag-96 - evaluates allowed trajectories with rigidity step 0.01 GV in geomagnetic field from internal IGRF and external Tsyganenko 96 models. Because calculation can take 10-20 minutes, results are sent to user also by email. Web model / GeoMag-05 - evaluates allowed trajectories with rigidity step 0.1 GV in geomagnetic field from internal IGRF and external Tsyganenko 05 models. Mail model / GeoMag-05 - evaluates allowed trajectories with rigidity step 0.01 GV in geomagnetic field from internal IGRF and external Tsyganenko 05 models. Because calculation can take 20-30 minutes, results are sent to user also by email. For more information about models/physics look to articles mentioned in section Publications.
